FABULOUs picture! I love his pensive look. it's so filled with emotion, and Hedwig looks so smug. I always love your Harry's, how you set his glasses just so you can see his eyes. and the expression in them! fantastic!

'Hm. A leaf.' Green, which meant it could have been picked recently, or spelled to remain in an imitation of life. Harry held it up against the light, turning it slowly as he pondered who might have sent it to him... and why?! Why send him a leaf? The envelope was sealed without crest, and no note accompanied the leaf.

'A leaf. Hm.' Harry frowned slightly and glanced at the envelope again before his bright eyes darted back to the piece of greenery slowly twirling in his hand. the soft veins spread through from the stem looked much as how he pictured his life. One being reaching out so far to other ends, and in the end, become nothing. 'It's going to die anyhow,' he pondered, turning it slowly in the golden light. 'Sure is pretty though....'

In the doorway behind him stood an awkward classmate, watching as large teeth bit into lower lip. Watching, as Harry brought the leaf closer and smelled its fresh green scent.

Turning from the doorway, closing it lightly, Neville smiled. A leaf. Green... just like Harry's eyes.

The light it this is gorgeous!! Unbelievable - the shine and sparkle all over. I love Harry's posture and his expression. He's all grown up (well, older teen, at least), isn't he? So lovely.
